Top 5-Woman posing a pregnant teen student charged with assaulting principal –Why so upset
WELLAND, Ont. -- A 28-year-old Welland woman posing as a pregnant teen student under a pseudonym was charged Tuesday for allegedly assaulting the principal at Eastdale Secondary School. The woman enrolled in the school's second semester classes under the name Terra Eaglesnest and claiming to be pregnant. Suspicions arose last week when the woman's identity could not be confirmed, said Niagara Regional Police Const. Neal Ridley, a school resource officer who was called in to investigate.
"She wasn't an active student," he said of the woman who he estimates only attended classes "four or five times" since the semester began Feb. 4. Though he only met her in person for the first time on Tuesday, Ridley said her appearance did raise some suspicions among staff in regards to her age. She had allegedly informed the school that she was pregnant and had been referred to District School Board of Niagara's Young Moms program. On Tuesday, Ridley arranged a meeting with the woman and principal Erin Lotherington.During the meeting, the woman's true identity was revealed, Ridley said. When she "found out the jig was up" she went to collect her belongings.
Top 4-Woman wins $5,000 to let strangers name her baby –Nice free money
A Los Angeles mother-to-be is crowdsourcing her baby's name and getting paid $5,000 to do it. Natasha Hill, 26, couldn't decide what to name her kid, so she signed up for a contest at Belly Ballot, a site that lets friends and family help choose your baby's name. Usually, Baby Ballot has loved ones select from a list of names you make up yourself. But for Hill, anyone in the whole world can vote from a list of names curated by the site. That list will come from "currently trending names" and names sponsored by advertisers. "I'm so excited to have won," Hill said. "I think the whole Belly Ballot concept is so social and fun, and can't wait to see what everyone votes for." Hill told NBC her boyfriend worries "people are going to use it as a chance to do something pranky," but Baby Ballot promises anything too weird or corporate will be banned. Voting takes place March 18-22.

Top 2-Christians upset over the poster of a woman licking a cow
THE advertising watchdog has thrown out a complaint against a Brisbane burger joint after they used an image of a woman licking a cow's face to promote their premium beef. The Advertising Standards Board dismissed the complaint which described the Burger Urge image as loathsome, sick, wrong and perverted. But the Board ruled most people would realise the image had been photo shopped, and while it would be considered distasteful by most people, it was not overly sexualised or provocative.
The Board also found that while the slogan is open to many interpretations, the most likely is suggestive of eating a burger made from premium beef. Advertising Standards also received a complaint about media reports that Burger Urge delivered condoms to letterboxes across Brisbane, but that did not constitute a formal complaint. ''They hadn't actually received the advertising material themselves so we confine our cases to things that people have actually received or seen,'' Advertising Standards chief Fiona Jolly said.
